Hi,
This is my first post here. I'm a retired teacher helping my 82 year old father with his cattle— red hybrids and black and white face bred to a poles Hereford bull.
We have a calf that is about 6 weeks old. Has been limping for a couple of weeks. I can't get close enough to see if it has a foot injury or something else. The foot is not swollen. I suspect it is a shoulder out of place because it doesn't look right. It sticks out at an odd angle. She lays around a lot, but she is nursing and grazing a bit. She avoids putting any weight on it. I have pics, but I will have to upload from my laptop.
Thoughts? I'll get pics ASAP.
Thank you!
