Have a calf that will not or cannot suck milk from mother
This is a range WF that hasa had several calves with no problems
Calf did not seem to be getting any milk so I presuaded cow to allow me to milk her and then gave milk to calf about 3 quarts.

I noticed cow was hard to milk and I could only get a small flow. Don't think cow is holding back and after 5 days she will allow me to milk her in field with calf near by. calf then takes milk out of bottle I've tried to get it to nurse and it trys for a minute or so.

Suspect the flow is so hard to get out that calf can't get any. I've done a lot of hand milking and this cow is the hardest to get the milk out.
Is there a way to inlarge nipple hole. to allow larger flow.
Calf is now 11 days old.

I would skip a meal and get calf hungry. If you can get it out, calf can get it better than you IF it tries harder.
Make sure you have a nipple on the bottle that the calf has to REALLY suck to get the milk out. Make it work for it.

Thats what I tried last night but still no sucess but I did give in to a easyer bottle after a while ran out of time will try again.
Cow wants to nurse bottle now. hav'nt let it
