It is supposed to get cold for here starting Monday with a good chance of snow. That will be when the others will decide it's time.

Kenny dam is 1/2 SH 1/4 Hereford and Brimmer has SH hair and Hereford looks.
That calf is 1/2 Angus 1/4 SH 1/8 Hereford and Brimmer.
My running buddy that died earlier this year ran registered SH and had some F-1 Tigers.
He was loading calves to go to the salebarn a few years ago.
I liked the cow and bought her as a heifer.

Kenny I have two full sisters in the pasture both 3/4 Hereford 1/4 Brahman. One would pass as registered Hereford the other has Braford stamped all over. I can't get on photobucket I have a pic with them standing side by side.

I can see the Brahama influence in them but not by the head. More on the hips and udder.

Most of the time my Angus bull trims the ear and you get the hybred pop from the Brahman. You get a black baldie or a super baldie looking calf that mashed the scales.

That ear here doesn't hurt it would probably kill you in your area.

It's crazy that calf brought top dollar here. If you want to get hurt here better not have chrome like SH or LH.
