New calves, week to 10 days old. Two of them with relatively solid stools, but a little blood in and also on butt. Still seems to have good energy and alert. Gave bonus yesterday to be cautious. Thoughts or suggestions? Thanks

What kind of bonus? ;>)
Yeah, I know you meant bolus.

Could be coccidiosis, could be salmonellosis, could be a pathogenic strain of E.coli...could be nothing.
If coccidiosis, the sulfa boluses - if administered at the proper dosage - may be helpful. May or may not be effective against Salmonella or E.coli.
Keep an eye on hydration status.

Sounds like coccidiosis - we use Toltruzuril - they work great and stay in their system for 10 days (according to my vet). He actually recommends if you are calving in wet weather to give each calf one. They are just a white capsule pill. Usually one pill is good for up to 100 Lb calf. We have bought ones from another vet that had doses for 150 lb calves.
