Yes,that was the name of the shot .Selenium.What is it supposed do?Will the tendons work out faster with the splints?Does the Selenium help alot?

Selenium is for White Muscle Disease. Lack of selenium causes a lot of problems. Dumb suckers, weak muscles in their legs, poor immune system, etc. Some signs are very subtle - some very distinct, like a calf that cannot suck. It affects the large muscles - a tongue is a large muscle. Also the large muscles in their legs.
Was the calf unable to straighten out the front legs immediately at birth or did the legs get weaker after birth? If after, that is NOT tendons. Tight tendons are already there before they are born. Might be advancing White Muscle or Naval Ill. With naval ill, the joints are usually swollen. This is caused by bugs entering the naval & causing septicima.
