White bass, striper, big catfish. We also go down to the gulf of America from time to time. Used to be into bass fishing, then I grew up.

I do bass fish once or twice a week , I don't video fish. I guess I regressed as I used to tournament fish the bay’s for specks.

Nice rig. I sold my 20 foot triton a few years back. Did without a boat until I decided on this one. A shoulder injury makes it uncomfortable to stand cast all day so I decided to do something different. Doesn't matter what your pursuing FFS is a real game changer. It can certainly cause a disconnect with nature though if you allow it.

Different names for the same fish maybe? There's a mud cat that is dark and doesn't get very big and will take over a farm pond. Sometimes called them pollywogs.

That's what I've always known as mud cats. I haven't tried one, but apparently the meat tastes like mud.

I thought pollywogs were tadpoles?

We call the small ones bullhead usually less than 2 pounds and a very soft and oily flesh. Those big flatheads are my favorite catfish to eat. Very white flesh and a good mild flavor.
