Hi all,
I'm wondering if these bumps are just temporary or something I should keep an eye on?

:welcome:
They appear to be warts. They will go away on their own. If you were needing to get health papers for a show, you would need to cut them off. You just pull it away from the skin (fingers or pliars) and use scissors to cut it off. Or use pliars to crush them. Bleeding will kick in their immune system to fight them off. They do not hurt the animal, just look ugly.

Yup, warts. I typically only see them on yearlings & retained heifers. I just leave 'em alone and they do eventually disappear. Don't be surprised if you find them on other areas of the body - or other cows.

I echo what the others have said. Warts. Over the years, I've had some of my animals get them, no big deal, they will go away eventually. Young horses will get them too.
