Bull with reoccurring joint problem

We have an unregistered black angus bull about 3 years old that is having some type of joint problem. The bull was doing fine and all at once his lower joint in his front leg became swollen and he could hardly put weight on it. We decided to get rid of the bull and then the swelling went away and he went back to his normal self. This has happened a couple more times, but every time he gets better. Just wondering if anyone had every heard of this before.

i have no idea what the bulls prob is.but i know this id cull him while he is walking ok.because if you dont he could go down on you.
