Bull Picture

Out playing with the old clippers today. Plan on taking this Welsh Black bull over to a trade show to promote our upcoming sale. 19 month old bull with no grain in him at all. Used on 25 cows last summer for about 60 days. About forty five of these rascals in our forage test and they are doing just fine. Hay only from weaning to grass. Barley silage and 10% good quality hay in the college where we are testing them. Have to get old Purecountry to post a pic of his Galloway bull that is in the same group.

Looks like the pics may be a bit to big, but I guess you will get the idea.

I agree with Doc, he's a very good looking animal. I don't know much about the breed, but he looks good. He may be just a bit close between the shoulders, but you probably don't want him too wide up front. I wouldn't fault him for that. Nice bull. Congrats.

Looks a little cut-up in the flank but that could be because of his gut. Did you trim his hooves?

fine looking bull from what i see....would have to see him move to make any other comments. looks like he will track fine ;-)
