yep id sure hate to lose those potentail pounds, those brangus moma could put on a calf with the right bull
do you think i better stay on brangus cows to brangus bulls replacements for and to angus or charolais for terminal, tanks
yep... keeping more breeds out of the mix you dont want to mogrelize a good herd of brangus building uniformity in a herd is hard enough .. id stay brangus for replacement and use charolais for terminal,,, but now if you truly rather have baldies get you a good polled hereford bull you'll be glad you did
like this idea of brangus herd and to carolais for terminal. what might be the colors of the calves

most all will be dark. some could be tanish. but all should be uniform in size, and phenotypicaly correct ..its a impressive cross , that'll add pounds....... ive seen white before with angus/char

ok tankyou for your coments, so what do you think will be better from hereford or black angus bulls to the brangus cows

A hereford. Angus may be similar to herefords in most aspects, but can not and will not add any meaningful amount of heterosis when mated to brangus.
