They do take it hard during our one week winters we have here. Like last year when it was down in the twenties for four days and freezing rain, but that was all we had last year. I would hate to try and put them through a REAL winter.

The calves have a much harder time in the cold weather. They are slow to nurse when it's below about 50! :cboy:

I think she's a pretty little calf. She does need a little more condition despite her age but I think all in all she's alright.

Thanks to everybody. I can assure you that she is well taken care of, like all of my cattle. I dont know why she may have loked a little drawed in that pic. I need to take better ones.

JJ theres a difference in cattle looking drawed and looking thin....drawed is talkin aboput body fill....thin talks about body condition. Nothing wrong with your pictures..there sure a lot better than mine. Lol
