BP (Boston Pizza)

The last 3 days, I have been seeing all these adds and billboards for Boston Pizza getting it right on their new burger. They advertisse 1/2 lb of 100% pure Canadien beef. It is a prime rib burger and looks great in the ad, so I just had to break down and try one tonight. http://www.bostonpizza.com/en/Default.aspx
It took quite awhile to get. Then, it was very poorly textured, had almost no real beef flavor, just alot of spices, was very dry, and was served on a dry, hard crusted hamburger bun. The burger, fries, and diet coke cost 19.04. I do not believe this is the way to move very much Canadien beef, at least I won't be moving any more of it my way.
Has anyone else tried one? Did I just have a rare, bad experience?

I'm a little curious as to why they would be advertiseing canadian beef in missouri----but its a good thing

Carlos, Actually, I am in Thunder Bay, Canada at the moment. I think someone would get run out of town on a rail if they advertised Canadian beef in Missouri. Dun, you got that right---LOL And that 19 dollar price tag is through the roof.

You should stop by for a visit. You only have to drive 5 hours to the west.

On the note about Boston Pizza, stay away from it. Overpriced junk. You would be better off eating at McDonalds as they only serve Canadian beef. Or better yet, stop in and I can fix us a burger or two. :cowboy:

Aaron, Thanks alot for the invitation. I am afraid I will not have that much free time to take that drive and back, although I know it would be a beautiful drive. I have to ask, why order a hamburger at a pizza place. My youngest son will order the oddest things at restaurants. For instance, at a fish house he might order spaghetti. He always tickled me with this.

Jogeephus, In attempting to answer your question, it was late, I was hungry, I did not want pizza, nothing else was open, the BP ads for the prime rib burger looked soooo good. I guess those are the only reasons I can think of for breaking the cardinal rule of eating out and that is what you mentioned---order what the place specializes in. Pdfangus----you are smarter than I---LOL and alacattleman, I like the sound of that Bubba's place
