How in the world did Mississippi State University get left off the list? MSU is well known for excellence in all Ag studies. You will see MSU research cited frequently in technical papers produced by other outstanding schools.

When you read breed/industry/trade magazines 99.999% (don't want to say always, because someone will call me on it.) of current industry professionals have graduated from one of the four schools listed above.

Each of these four has a certain aspect of beef production that they excel in above the others. If you want information about the strengths and weaknesses of each just ask.
