Seems there was a very brief convo a while back.

I believe she just weaned a calf. Shes bawling. See how her bag looks tomorrow morning. Came from a pretty fancy place I think. Printed ear tag with her name and birth date and owners name.
She will be 5 in April. Not bred.

She will get spoiled a bit til I decide what I wanna do with her. Puppy dog gentle. Eats cubes from your hand. Allows petting. If I read the tag right her name is "Willow"

I know someone will ask...

I knew this day would come. For what it's worth, I think bellies are pretty as well, just don't know what they're good for. But, if she produces a calf and lives to tell the tale then I suppose she's worth something.

A hairy belty might get some higher bids.

I've seen some decent belted cows that raised good calves. But nowadays people buy for the most ridiculous reasons, or maybe more properly discount cattle for the most ridiculous reasons. If I was a processor I'd be buying all the odd colored calves I could get and once they're fed out and skinned no one would know the difference.

I kinda thought she might be as well.
I've given thought to calling the phone number on the tag, but I think they might be a bit upset about what she brought. Who knows...

Galloway tend to have a lot more hair. But she could be watered down and the colour scheme just popped up for her

Most of the oreo cows I hace seen look lke angus that someone painted a white band on. This one looks like it is part dairy to me. Jersey or Guernsey.
