Beef Friesians are the beef breed of Holsteins
though I don't know if there are still any American breeders or not. Holsteins are also a component of both Hays Convertors.

I dont quite understand what you mean.

Do you mean. do we think Belgian blues to be as extreme in terms of beef type in the same way as holsteins are extreme in dairy type? If that is the question then yes there is probably a point to that.

If you mean are belgian blues a sort of beef strain of holstein cattle in the way that there are beef and dairy bloodlines of simmentals, then no, they are completely different breeds.

Then no, belgian blues are the most extreme beef type cattle there are, holsteins the most extreme non beef type cattle there are.
