It was an absolutely beautiful morning here. The kind of morning that makes you want to take pictures to remember it by. Caught one of a calf standing on top of a flake of hay to hold it down while he ate.

Was a beautiful Easter Day here too. Weather was perfect for the Easter Sunday service on the front lawn of church. Easter egg hunt out back of the church afterwards but we didn't stay around for that.

Beautiful morning here in Va also. Listened to some of the Easter music on the computer, ate with son's gilfriends' family, had to go get a heifer in with a 2 day old calf that she is not claiming and get her in the chute to let it nurse. Will have to babysit her for a few days to get her to "get with the program".... Could've been worse.

We skipped the sun rise and early services, critters to feed. Got done and went to the 10:30 service which is the one we normally attend. At the end of service they baptized 4 people. One was the granddaughter of a friend. Grandpa got to do the baptizing of his granddaughter. They announced that there was going to be a wedding about 20 minutes after service and that everyone was welcome to stay. We did know either of the people so we didn't stay. Stopped at the grocery store while in town. Came home and caught a late lunch. Ran up to a neighbor's place where they were branding today. Timing was good as they were all done with both the branding and eating. It was only 70 calves so it went pretty quick. Been a great day.
