I have a bander that I use on young goats. I can't find the thread now where somebody replied to my casteration of a young bull. He spoke of using a cheerio bander and I assume he was referring to the little bands that go with the Banders looking like 5076D5D6-7675-48D5-B048-27286B758B47.jpeg509D9659-3311-431C-B390-887D3B8B6A87.jpegCheerios cereal? I have one of these and use it for small goats up to a month or more old. He said he used it on baby calf's. I have this I think and was wondering if it will work on a calf from day 1 to maybe a week old? It it will then I'm going to order the XL bander for older calves. Please advise as I'm not to knowledgeable on this casterating calf's but I fixing to get there.
Pic of mind attached- I think it came from tractor supply9F006ADB-29A1-49C9-ACF0-73BDA4933067.jpeg

We use that band on calves up to 2-3 months...that's what we all call cheerios bands... if you can get the nuts through it , then we use it... But mostly up to 200 + lbs. And we also give a tetanus toxoid shot to any over a month or 2 old... cheap insurance.
