Automatic or Manuel

Help Support CattleToday:

Well AC i see you got your new location up. Becarefull about pulling to far off the road down there in that mud hole you moved to.Ain't no rocks to keep you on top of the ground. What alot off folks don't seem to understand is it is 12 miles to pavement from my house the short way. 2 miles to the hill 5 miles up the hill 5 miles off the hill all rough steep crooked dirt road. You reach a top speed of maybe 20mph mostly from 5 to 15 mph with 22 4x5 bales on a 32 ft gn trailer **** gets hot in the july.

I had a 08 dodge dual wheel manuel . Went through 4 clutches . I've got a 11 dodge dual wheel auto now. 40 k miles and no problems . I pull at least 7 k pounds a day some times 25 to 30 k pounds during hay season . To much motor for the standard .

Research the power numbers and you will find that Dodge tuned down the Cummins 5.9 for the automatic. Im not sure that they still do for the 6.7s
