any thing on White Park

Gonna buy a white park hearford X just wondern if anyone has ever delt with them b4. she's a 12 month old heifer thinkn about AI for next springs calf or feedn her out any thoughts on this. :???:

We have some British Whites and love them. Have also butchered a couple, and loved them too!

Can't decide that for you Gonzo. I'm going to be doing some crossing in the future, but I will always keep some purebreds. A few months ago, we butchered beef-type steers: a purebred Angus and a purebred British White, both about 18 mos. Hanging weight on the Angus was about 30 lbs. or so more than the BW, but both were awesome carcasses.

However, depending on where you are, you may have trouble finding a BW bull to use, unless you go with AI. That is absolutely a disadvantage.
