American Simmental/Simbrah National Classic

Has anyone seen the steer show before? Do all the steers, Simbrah/Simmental, show together? My son is trying to convince me to take him. Our heifers really aren't good enough to take and they need to be be bred about that time. However, our steer would be a prospect PB simbrah steer. If I read the rules correctly, he would have to show with the simmentals. Sounds like we don't have any really good options as far as quality animals to take.

Last years results just say, Grand and Reserve Steer, so I guess they show together, but then, there could have not been any Simbrah steers there.

I thought they were trying to get the Simbrah Roundup to be the ASA Simbrah National show?

You can look on the Simmental assocation website. It has rules for the classic and the regional shows on there along with entry forms. The one show that I was at a few years ago, the steers showed together.

There are other contests that your son can get into while he's at the show.
