Always hard to watch calves go through their teens.
Young calves that I think are keepers start falling apart and looking gangly.
Runty little calves that I thought were destined for the salebarn start to come into their own and start catching my eye.
Get them through their teens and it may all reverse again.
Which ones to keep for replacements? Maybe some? Maybe none? Only the ones that look the part from birth to adulthood and never go through a "phase"?
