Age of aborted calf

I bought a heifer last November - was about nine months.I later discovered that she already had been in calf.On Wednesday she aborted a hairless calf which was already dead or died during calving.I've got a few questions: 1)Approximately how old could the aborted calf be? 2)Would the udder still produce collostrum? 3)How long will it take before she will cycle again?

I would appreciate your input.
