I spent most of the day mowing grass around the equipment shed and working pens. I really wanted to get some photos of bred heifers and the coming three year old cows. The problem was by the time I finished the mowing it was hot so they were hanging in the trees. I did manage to get a few photos.
A Regis 904 heifer out of the Blackcap cow family she is bred to our EXT son out of our 658 donor
This is a nice young cow, she is AI'd safe to OCC Missing Link for her second calf.

After this group I gave up on pictures I need to try to get them either early morning or late evening they just don't want to get out in this heat and I don't blame them. We came home from visiting at the hospital tonight at 7:30 p.m. and it was still 85 but the bull calves were out grazing.
