18 410lb @ an average of 1.43/lb...net $10k and some change. Calf's were a bit leaner than I would've like but prices weren't the worst I've seen at these weights.

Should have another round ready to go in the fall.

What breed? Steers, heifers or mixed? Weaned? Where did you sell?

Angus steers. 30-day pasture weaned and some dewormer at the start. Lockhart, TX.

Sold a group of 5 weighed 1996... right at 400 each. Off first calf heifers. 1.60 here in Va. Sold a couple odd ones in the 1.20-1.40's. Heifers been bringing in the 1.25 to 1.35 anything up to 550 lbs. They have been holding steady, the steers are off a bit overall. Steers were bunk broke, and drinking out of fountains, but not weaned. Heifers needed a break, going to calve again in the fall. Had a few off cows too, mostly were nov/dec born and cows are checked preg for the fall so bred right back.
Prices here seem to be holding a little better than we expected.
