6I6 semen

Is Rito 6I6 semen scarce and does it have much value? Might be buying a tank and inventory of semen that has some 6I6 semen and trying to decide what to offer the guy for the whole package.

Select Sires used to carry him. I saw one listing for him at 50 bucks a unit, when we bought it a couple of years ago we paid 15

He's dead - died last year, I think - so...there won't be any more. Has some value, but probably won't approach EXT or Meyer 734 in price, ever.
Sold better in some areas of the country than others.
Had a reputation for good calving ease and making nice daughters with good dispositions.
Have one 6I6 daughter in the herd, with her first calf. Nice, wouldn't mind having more.

easy calving...decent growth but not extreme...
worth using if you can buy it right....

I Love his heifers and bulls. Great muscling and amazing dispositions. I bought 30 straws several years and just used the last of it. His sons were always the first to sell.
