300 blackout

I'm thinking about getting the 300 blackout . I plan on hunting hogs with it . Shooting the subsonic 220 grain . With the suppressor . Anyone have experience with this gun ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/300_AAC_Blackout_(7.62×35mm)

I'm talking about shooting pigs under a feeder at 40 yards at night . I've read where guys are killing 3 or 4 pigs a night at the same stand because the suppressed sub sonic round doesn't push the hogs out of the area.

Might just work for you then. I wouldn't use it past 50yds myself. But i do not shoot a lot of hogs anyway!

Blackout will shoot both rounds . Like a 5.56 and 223 . The blackout has a longer throat and can be loaded hotter .

Do a search on the e-net. There are tons of "discussions" about the 300 blackout. It is very popular to do what you are wanting. Its the latest band wagon to jump on.

My opinion is you probably have another gun that will do the same job right now... or you can purchase one that will do what the Blk Out will and more.
