It's $1.79 here. The reason it's so high here is that we have a singular pipe, yes 1 pipe, coming from Utah that delivers all fuel to Idaho. So, some days it runs gas, another jet fuel, and diesel. It's insane.

Pipeline has analyzer on it today when it sees the plug being kerosene or diesel it's switched to appropriate tankage most of the time to diesel.

Do they not use a water block anymore?

We never did I never knew where that got started. I always figured it was using steam stripping in fractionation towers to lower partial pressure.
Diesel tends to become miscible in the process hanging on to water. It will settle out with time. That's one of the reasons ethanol is not shipped by pipeline or ship as it seeks water and becomes total miscible and will not separate.
"Miscible is a fancy word for "mixable." You may have heard that oil and water are not very miscible substances, whereas seltzer and orange juice are miscible and delicious! Miscible is a word used by chemists to explain why some liquids mix together well, while others do not."
