II dont think he has a Braangus bull. But if he did, I[d breed those heifers he is looking at to it as well.

He has a Hereford over Brangus, doesn't get any better in this part of the world.

Just use his Brangus and get super baldies everytime.
He's trying to fix something that's not broken.

I keep looking at him everyday., but damn! That bull @Jeanne - Simme Valley is using for clean=up right now would be awesome on those 9! Or one just like him!

I mis-read what you posted. I thought you said use his brangus (bull) on THOSE 9 heifers. You are right...we see these a lot down here. Or more often , the other way..... Angus on f1Braford.

Looks like a good buy anyway around it to me. I know everyone wants all their calves to be uniform but if you are running 20-30 cows it is not that big of a deal. In my opinion you can't raise em for 1200 a piece so take em off his hands he or she already did the heavy lifting. Breed em and sell as breds or with calf at side or have cows that will last you 15+ years easy with that much Brahman. If they were near me and gentle I would have em on the trailer today. Anything past 2nd calf you are in the green in my opinion.

Sell as breds 1750 sell with calf at side 2000 or keep.

Buy yearling angus bull if you want put weight on him and sell him as 2 year old after he has done his job.

Bull doesn't have to be curve bender or top of sale could be cheapest at registered sale. And low birth weight.

Bought them and recently resold 8 of them as light bred to my Hereford. 1 didn't breed but it happens. They were a little flighty for me to keep

Some years back I bought some 50/50 angus Brahman x, I put a Hereford bull on them, most of the calves were red.
