Any one ever used Armscor brand 22 long rifle ammo? I know some guns don't like some ammo like the Winchester Wildcat and Remington Golden bullet. Curious is this stuff is any good?

Just not seeing much of any available around here. I have had good luck with Winchester Super X and CCI. Been a long time since I had any Federal 22 ammo.

Tom I have shot a lot of this through my 22lr and also have shot the 22mag and have never had a problem with either.

I haven't seen any around my way since October between x-mas and people buying up any ammo they can I haven't seen hardly any ammo in my area.

CCI is good I only shoot cb's though. I use to shoot the snake shot and the cci that was called a stinger i think they still make them.

Can't even find 22long around here.

This is crazy we never had a ammo shortage before.. ammo manufacturers may see this as a great time to jack up prices by saying demand is so high and they are short of something to make ammo.

Because all the once fired brass is being ground up and sent to china instead of used here.

There is a place here that processes millions of once fired brass a month. It comes primarily from 2 major sources.

The US government and the ammo manufacturers.

I believe the number is about 4 millions rounds a month. Mostly 223 and 308. Also some 50bmg.

They sell brass primed and without primers. I think they are very reasonable. Lots of Lake City headstamps but others on ocassion! Good folks and a good company!

I thought it was all contracted out to be ground and sold. Thanks for the correction

Hook for w while there it looked like that might happen but cooler(Republican) heads prevailed and he was able to get his source back. They almost put him out of business and threw away about 25 jobs.

Ordered some of the Armscor to try, found some Remington Thunderbolt local but not had good luck with the other Remington. Talked to a guy today that said he had good luck with it, guess I will find out.

:( Got a email after I ordered it, backordered. Oh well. :(

i will never use any remington 22's ever again they are very dirty and alot of duds .. from my experience that is. I only use remington centerfire cartridges.

I've still got cases of Rem vipers, been using it for years. Never have had a dud. In most match chambers it shoots as good as the actual target stuff for accuracy.

Now if you can find some Aguila super max these are hot little loads running 1750 fps.
I use them all the time in my 10/22 great varmit round.
There is no ammo of anykind to be had, American is arming in case of a fight.
Heck it is hard to find reloading dies in the popular caliber's right now.
