Whoever made that loses all credibility right away by not understanding that "gross profit" is not the same as profit. Their last sentence pretty much solidifies they don't understand what they're trying to pretend they're experts in.
It doesn't actually show that at all. We would have to see true profits for many years, along with inputs broken down into categories, and retail prices they charged to find a pattern. There is no doubt that the statement is true, its just that this little meme doesn't provide anything to show it. Its simply made to get "likes" on facebook. It also shows that a lot of the cause for the out-of-control inflation was corporate gouging.
Al Gore was on Apple's board of directors until recently. Looks like his knowledge of climate was important to them. Only shareholder vote I ever cast was against that turd ball#1 Apple Inc. (AAPL)

He probably won't be settling for corriente cattle..Jamie Dimon head of JP Morgan made 34 million last year including bonuses. Just shy of 3 million a month. Not sure his personal overhead. I'm betting he does OK
I wonder just how many here, when they take their calves to sale, jump up in the middle of the auctioneer's song when their calves come thru the ring, and screamWe're all capitalists till we have to pay more. Then we're socialists. I say we get the government involved to regulate them - oh wait - we're against that. We could tax those profits - oh wait….. oh well - let's just complain about how much they make
Some of these high maintenance spouses' (women or men) inflations doesn't bother them as long as the plastic last. I didn't get paid much but working in a bank for a few years was a good experience, dang you just can't makeup some of the stories. Thank goodness mine is not like that.Notice only about 4 companies on that list deal in what would be described as necessary goods. They profit off luxury and for a lot of those companies that is global income that is taxed here in the US as they are US based unless I am missing something. Same people that bitch about Starbucks coffee not giving employees a raise are the same ones that don't or minimum tip EVERY morning when they stop for their $8-$12 latte. Just saying, it is a capatalist economy just like it is a democracy, we are to blame for that which we complain about most. Same goes for bitching about your spouse.
