I have to say.. that is a pretty ugly heifer! But the calf looks good! She doesn't look like she has much milk, but if you either feed the cow or creep feed the calf he should do okay.
The last time we had a very young heifer get bred accidentally, she didn't last beyond the first calf either. She just never matured herself, and couldn't raise a very good calf. Of course if you don't have much money in the heifer, you'll get some of it back with the calf.

I really have no clue but he doesn't look to have any brimmer influence. Possibly ra? He looks to fine boned to be from a lim and I would think a herf would have put some chrome on him. I'd say he's deffinately a Heinz-57 :lol2:
