12 gauge slugs

Any one use 12 gauge slugs for deer?

I have a dandy 4pt black tail in my neighbors garden.

What kind of distance 35 yds.?

Of course, I don't mess around with any trouble. Shotgun is needed for the rules.

just picked up my tag and a box of rifled hollow point 1 ounce slugs.

headed to my buddies gun range to do some testing!

50 to 75 yards is excellent range for slug.

Don't shoot the slugs out of a full or modified choke.
You might not be happy with the results.
For Dam sure don't shoot it with screw in full or modified.

If buck shot is legal, I'd prefer it over slug in a non rifled barrel anyway.

Get a larger kill zone to boot.

At 35 yds 4 shot with a bird gun works!

12ga slugs kill better than anything else in their range. I really like the Lightfield Hybred slugs. Major pop.

At 35 yds I can kill any animal with any gun/load I own as I'm sure most of you can too...

There is only one slug out there that's the lightfields I will shoot 150 yds with those no problem.

a deer I shot last year over 100 yds away not exactly sure just remember was over 100. This pic doesn't do justice but it was a big arse hole
