That aint happening in the central part of the state...

I dont doubt that, but it's cheaper in South Central KY.

I'm sure its like that in any state. I'm from fayette but land is so high that its unattainable by mere mortals. Land prolly goes for 6-10k plus depending on the farm. Woodford co.. forget about it. I got lucky and stumbled onto a good community in lewis, the soil is less desirable but you cant have it all, the people make up for it.

Great climate, ample rain, good soil, low taxes, good people, land available for purchase at a reasonable price.

The best kept secret around.

Also....casino jobs all over and nurses are in great demand....

I ;-)
wouldnt be telling people that if I were you. I live in a crappy area and nobody wants to come to Arkansas. ;-) ;-) ;-)

Now that's worthy of a "wink" ;-) . I hear lots of folks are moving into the Mo/Ark Ozarks....

In this part of Ms we are sparcely populated and could stand a few newcomers...There's lots of game and fishing is great. We're on I-55 a couple hours from Memphis, one hour from Jackson. My property taxes run $3 to $4 per acre on open pasture.

There is a large trust fund that will pay for the college education of any resident of several counties around here.

I ain't the Chamber of Commerce, but i'll be happy to give anybody a tour.
