I just bought two cows and instead of taking them to the vet, I was going to give them their shots myself but I just don't know what to give them. Any help would be appreciated. 1 cow weighs 1275 lbs. and the other cow weighs 1425 lbs. Thanks in advance, Phil

Your in a catch 22. If you buy a whole bottle of everything you need you will have more in it than the vet will charge. If you go to the vet, and buy two needles full of what you need it will cost almost as much as the bottle. I would almost just asoon have the vet do it if I was you, and had no use for the remainder of the bottles. If any of that makes any sense.

I'd wait until they calved then give them 7 way and Leptospirosis, Vibriosis

Do very many people really use a vet to give routine vaccines to their cattle?
Depends on circumstances. We didn;t until I did the math. Also physical abilities can enter into the equation.
