    Pipe Corral

The continous pipe fence looks great but is would seem to me that it would be harder to use on steep/hilly land. Mind you I'd love to have a corral made of that stuff.

Nice looking baldies. That looks like land that's been strip mined to me. We have a lot of that around here.

    info for beginners

Here is a link to an article about getting into the cattle business that pretty much sums up a lot of the info that I have read here posted by many different people. It's pretty general but quite informitive. It's also kinda long but worth the read I believe for those thinking about getting...

    grazing cornfield

My neighbor raised a couple acres of corn for silage on my place this year and we had a bad storm come through and mash a lot of the corn down so bad that they couldn't cut it. There is a lot of corn laying on the ground. I'm in the process of buying a steer off a guy to feed out for the...

    Solid Panels for Handling Facility?

I hope so. I've got a huge roll of used belting I picked up for nothing at a coal mine a while back just for that use. ;-) They have it laying around everywhere. They aren't allowed to bury it anymore.

    A NO--Go Bull

Well, he really likes the bull and he's hoping that watching the older bull will give him the idea of what's expected. :D He's already talked to the man he bougt the bull from and he said he could return it for another or get his money back. We'll see what happens, or not.

    A NO--Go Bull

A guy at work bought a new bull this year. It's a two year old black Limi. It bred no cows this year and he ended up turning his old bull in to get the job done. It's a 6 yo red Limi. He's going to give it another chance this fall then send it back if it doesn't perform. :D

    feed storage bin

I've got one of those as well but it had something other than glue in it. I haven't found a use for it yet but I'm sure I will. How do you plan to use it as a feed bin? Cut it down or are you planning to put the feed in thru the hole in the top and let it run out the bottom somehow? Or???

I agree with Dun on the cows condition although I am NO expert and I hate to be a dunce but what was the point of this thread? Were we supposed to guess who the daddy of the calves are? :help: What am I missing?
