    I agree totally. This is out of control! Many ranchers are suffering because they wont take the measures to eradicate that deer population up there. I heard that you in Michigan are in a split staus. If you are are you split in 2 or 3 areas?

    I called a place here in Mn about it this summer. You take a blood sample and send to them and they can determine, within 26hrs of receiving your sample, if your heifer/cow is preg 30 days after breeding/calving. (don't quote me i am trying to go from memory, not to sharp the older i get)...

    Calf with bloat

    We have used that Therabloat a couple of times and when that doesn't work we give them these pink boluses that are exactly like Pepto. Then we try to get them moving as much as possible. Has always worked for us. Good Luck!

    I asked my vet about that also. She had never seen it migrate in that direction with a shot before. She also asked if he had injured the shoulder. We have racked of poor little brains and cannot figure on anything that would have happened to that site or area to cause this.

    ear warts???

    we had a show steer with ear warts that last year. we cut it off ourselves and put iodine on it. then gave him the wart vaccine. he turned out fine, no other problems.

    Had temp this am and was still limping a bit. Gave a shot of la200 and a tenus shot. Also dosed foot with iodine. Thanks everyone for the help! :D
