I keep out free choice loose salt all the time anyway. No need for them to eat mineral when all they want is salt

Great news. Glad she is back on her feet. Hopefully she will continue to get stronger. I would keep her separate from the others for awhile, I think good food and rest will help a lot. We kept the one heifer apart for a couple weeks before we let her back. :banana:

Sounds a little like the heifer that had the calf pulled. It was more from the nerves that kept her down. Took a few weeks of feeding and turning from side to side before she was able to start getting up and back on her feet. I had felt around on my cows legs too but still couldn't see any...
