About five years ago someone sent a group of about ten of them through the Coryell county sale and they where all heavy bred. I know I could hear the " ch-ching" as they all ran through.

The Holstein and Brahma cross is a dandy cow, I have a few myself, wish I could still find that cross. I've seen the Brown swiss cross a few times too and their pretty cows.

Its a hog and maybe it really was that big, but anybody that knows their stuff knows its not a real "wild" hog. A true feral hog boar will rarely reach 400 lbs. in his lifetime. These hunting ranch bozos do it all the time, go around looking for the biggest hogs to buy from farmers and such and...

Not surprising that the yellow and yellow white faces and black white faces outperform the straight blacks. All based on consistency like I stated awhile back in another thread. Its the same here BTW.

And I cant ever recall seeing black baldies discounted. Thats a new one on me. I would be willing to bet that baldies may be sorted out for the sake of group uniformity and not because anyone feels they are inferior cattle. :roll:

Locality is important. Consistency is as well, and in my area your looking at 20+ years for black white face and the recent straight black craze of what, the last 5 ? Performance over years over a fad any day for me.

Right on the money, even better when its a super baldie. Tigerstripe F1's are right up there too. As far as calves go, a black whiteface or mottley will always bring the best money at the salebarn followed by yellow calves out of Charolais bulls and then straight black calves.

She's a keeper, thats for sure. Very good looking animal.

Use Charolais bulls on heavy brahman influenced cows, mainly tigerstripe and such, cant beat my salebarn tickets.

If was to have a Limi I would pick 77 too.
