These are the only photos I have that even show his width. I am going to keep him intact for now to see how he plays out.

This is the bull I have to compare him to. They are half brothers. Both of them are sired by Ten X.

10 months old but I don't know if I am as impressed with him as I want to be. He seems to be alright just not as good as I was hoping for in the beginning. It may just be because I also have 2 other bulls that are around 14 moths old. Will they put on a ton of growth in the next 2-3 months...

I enjoy reading all of the posts regarding the bull. I have been provided with a lot of useful knowledge that I have used and I actually think I have a couple people coming to look at him. Thank you all for the information and I will continue reading to learn more.

I guess we are at around 4 months old with this little guy and I still really like him a lot. I got a chance to snap a few pictures today.

I know there will be some people who talk about the feed trough, they get fed a little grain about once per week and I take pictures with my phone so they have to be relatively close.

After 2 months of growth I still like where this little guy is at. He is growing well! Here is a few pics of his half brother also. The brother is also sired by Ten X but he was born 09/08. He is also doing well and looks to be pretty deep bodied. I like the way my Ten X calves are...

There are several things that I like about him and I am still relatively new to the whole thing but I like his head just because he has the "bull look", he seems to be pretty wide in the back, and for his age he seems to have pretty good depth. Other than that I too feel like it is pretty tough...

Just a little update on the calf if any of you all are interested. The mashed the scales at 919lbs for his official wean weight with a 48" hip height. Not bad for my first bull born and raised on the old farm.

I appreciate your alls thoughts! Like I have indicated I am a little new to the whole thing. 3way, is the more hip a good thing or a bad thing and can you try to explain. Also, what do you mean by roofy? Sorry for the ignorance!

A little background info on the heifer: born the same day as the bull so about 8 months old. Dam: AAA17900884. Again out of a first calf heifer! I am still open to all opinions about both!

Managed to get out and get a few pictures of the bull from behind and also snapped a few pictures of his half sister.

The calf is 8 months old. I will make an attempt to get a picture of him from the rear. Thank you all!
