As far as novels go I think my favourite author is Sharon Kay Penman who writes historical fiction. Her best imo is the Welsh Trilogy.

This has nothing to do with stupidity - it has to do with a high fiber diet and liking nothing more than making your work harder. If you ate that much fiber you probably wouldn't be so good at holding it in until you got to the right spot either. ;-)

When I was a kid I had the best luck in cows. For a long while I only had one cow but every year she had would have one of the biggest steers. I never had a dead calf even when my herd grew to two cows. I went that way for 20 years but I pay for it now - that barn story - that sounds like...

I'm happy they changed the forecast to 4 for tomorrow - 16 and we would be a lake. Unfortunately they are calling for a chance of snow Thursday. :cry2:

We just got 30 cm of snow Saturday. There were places that the snow was over all four wires of the fence with just the tops of the posts sticking out. Tomorrow we are supposed to have a high of 16. :help:

We have a place people can take pets too around here and they still would rather ditch them in the country. The saddest one was a blind old dog that someone kicked out. He knew tons of tricks and was the sweetest dog you could meet. What sick person ditches their old BLIND dog??? It's not like...
