I've been doing the same (half and half/ ddgs/corn) this year for the first time and I'm confident they've done better on that then the creep feed I've used in years past.

It's an 8 inch auger. This was 35 a ton wet/ 85 dry chopped. I took screenings for 85 and DDGS for 128 a ton.

Went with an auger bucket idea instead. Wont be much help in the summer months on pasture but it'll be better in the fall /winter then the Reimer Eze

Decided to pass as it was late planted corn, just starting to dent. Instead I've purchased corn screenings and DDGs and I'm blending them 2/3's screenings, 1/3 distillers. Half done, Plan to feed it with an auger bucket a local shop put together for me Fresh paint
