What’s y’all’s ideas on wide row corn with beans in the middle or alternating rows of corn and beans?

Anyone graze in a pine plantation? What grasses grow best under pines? What has been your experience?

I always fertilize and stockpile fescue to cut hay expense. I wanted to put some red clover in to add protein and cut back on the fertilizer I know the clover would be ok to graze by thanksgiving but toyed with the idea of using vetch instead. Would the vetch be ready to graze at the same time...

Feed round bales on the bare spots. It will be growing cover soon. I rented a place that had bare spots. After feeding hay there two years it grew grass fine

Cheapest hay I can find supplement with cotton seed meal pulverized corn and salt. But I have lots of grass too

Some herbicides already have surfactant mixed in. Check your label

Check south Arkansas and north Louisiana for land prices. My son was told cutover timber land was$500 per acre. It would cost a lot to clean it up
