    Best radiator stop leak.

I agree. Cooling systems work best when they are unrestricted. I understand we all get in a pinch every now and then but the mechanic in a can stuff never really set my mind at ease like fixing it right does.

    Tractor Prices

So I know LS claims they are the same as a NH. All of our larger tractors are NH and one place I lease the landowner has an LS. Side by side I can find VERY few similarities between the two and they are the same year and hp. I mean, sure, it's a tractor I've used it to bush hog a little and fill...

    Engine Oil level High

That's very interesting. Please keep us posted on what they say. If that old girl of mine has a cummins designed engine in it I may have to look at it harder when it gets high hours.

    Engine Oil level High

M-5 are you sure this is a cummins? I have a t5050 which shows to be the same engine on tractor data but I never thought it was a cummins.

    Tractor Size and HP

I agree Nesi. Personally I like having as many tractors as I can  . But if you need the Swiss Army Knife tractor I'd suggest getting 4wd.

    Tractor Size and HP

Also if you have rough fields there is a big bonus to having those big tires on the front too. :cowboy:

    air impacts

If you do a lot of maintenance on your own I'd suggest buying a quality impact. IR would probably be the best bang without breaking the bank. I mechanic for a living and have had quite a few impacts throughout the years. Snap on and Mac along with Matco do make quality impacts but the hardest...

    Tractor Size and HP

I disagree. It depends on what your ground is like. Our "flat" fields are usually the ones that hold water the best so you may or may not run into some bad spots. Most are hills. On steep grades I feel that having the front end pulling is better that just lugging the tractor. Besides if I can...

    Kubota L305

I've found some information on that site but not quite what I'm needing to know. I've talked to three different Kubota dealers and looked all over online and none of them can answer my question. It's an older model made in Japan so I'm not surprised information is limited. Was also told the 305...

Yeah! That's why I did that.

    Kubota L305

Anybody ever done a rear crankshaft seal in a Kubota L305? If so please contact me. I have a very interesting problem.

    air impacts

Air is definitely stronger than any electric impact. I have quite a few air impacts and several electrics as well. This may sound strange and it's kinda hard to put into words but you have to get a feel for your impact. I know how long I need to hammer on a bolt with each gun in order for it to...

    Belt lacing pin

The last set I put on the pin was long enough to go through the lace but there wasn't very much overhang at all. I don't think you could bend them if you even wanted to. Can't remember where they came from but I know it was a company in AL.

I think my tractor is shot

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya BF.

    Sea Foam

The mechanic in a can stuff never really has worked for me personally. However those are some good products to remove water from fuel or for keeping your fuel system cleaned out. Never used sea foam but you do see it around a lot.

I think my tractor is shot

It's a sad fact that there are people out there who do this regularly. I know of a few "shops" that buy old tractors and paint them up, put new decals on them and turn around and sell them as good "strong" tractors. Fact of the matter is they never even had them in the field or hooked the PTO up...

    Belt lacing pin

x2. Don't try to bend them. They just break. JD uses this system. They just slide in

    New Toy

:D Dang Slick. That sticker alone will give you like 10,000 more horsepower.

    New Toy

 Does it have a COMP CAM sticker on the back glass?

I think my tractor is shot

BF IMO you'd be better off to install a crate motor. If he ran the thing completely out of oil it's likely the bottom end is wiped out and your oil pump is gone. It is possible the cam and bearings are shot too. Front gear train. Wrist pins could be seizing to the piston bodies. Rocker arms...
