I keep a good battery in my chore tractor but my hay tractors wind up sitting an awful lot especially in this Texas drought, both are about 95hp diesel of course anyway changing out these batteries has really gotten old, both have 2 batteries and are a PITA to change thinking about just running...

Thanks for the advice dun, I saw you had one on your mule,it dont get that cold around here compared to some of our Northern neighbors,but you get to zippin along bout 20 mph on a morning with temps in the teens can get chilly in a hurry,I seen one on flea bay that looked pretty good. good luck

Thanks men for the advice...........I found some R12,didnt think it was still around,but its $35 a can,probably go that route,I dont have a vacume pump,would'nt know how to use it if i did,but i can dump a can of R12 in it. good luck

I started doing some plowin and was getting tractors serviced and makin sure every thing worked that old blue tractor of mine wont blow cold air,R12 leaked out over the winter,and since R12 is damn near unobtainible Im thinkin bout changing it to R134 ? any advice would be appreciated as to how...
