    Kubota re-gen

Yes sometimes that works. Other times I have to stop work, place in neutral and go through the regen cycle to reset it.

    Kubota re-gen

I have a 2018 Kubota M6060 that does not require def. When using the tractor in lower RPM's the re-gen light comes on and I have to go through the re-gen cycle to continue using the tractor. As long as I stay above 2100-2200 rpm the tractor is fine with no issues. Sometimes when using the...

    joints popping and cracking

I have a one year old heifer calf (Longhorn). As I was feeding this weekend I noticed everytime she walked her knees and ankles popped. Sounded like me when I first get up of a morning. Checked on her a couple of days later and I do not hear anything as she walks. Is this something I should...

    Dillers

They go for the moist "watered" yards, and their primary source of food is insects in the form of grub worms. Kill the grubs out of your yard and they go elsewhere. My experience is they "root" down 2-4 inches, very narrow area then move to the next hole. They are a nuisance and can cause...

    New Holland 3010 S issue

Thanks, it was the PTO lever. It appeared to be in the neutral position but was not. Once I messed with it a little last night the tractor started like it was supposed to. Thanks for all the replies!!

    New Holland 3010 S issue

PTO lever has a neutral, and an engaged position. It's in the center of the two. I did push on the clutch and try and move it over to the neutral position but it does not move much at all.

    New Holland 3010 S issue

Just bought a used NH 3010s, 52hp tractor. This is my first tractor. When it was delivered it started up fine. I attached a 3pt hayspear after moving the tractor into position and now it won't start. The transmission is in neutral, the gear is in neutral but it will not even try to start...

    Used tractor

I just bought my first tractor, a New Holland 3010S, equipped with a front loader. In speaking with the man I bought it from he said I would need a "skid steer" style hay spear for the loader. My question is what is the difference in front loader hay spears?

    Old Hay

Thanks for the responses...I just wasn't sure whether it needed to be disposed of or not.

    Old Hay

This may have been discussed but using the search I was unable to find it. What would you do with old wet round bails of Hay. I have about 10 rolls that were stored outside that was rained on throughout the winter months that we did not feed. Will this make the cows sick if I put it out...

    Two cows down

Got the pathology report back...the liver tested positive for red water disease, ie bacteria Clostridium haemolyticum. Cow was allegedly vaccinated for Lepto a little over a year ago when I bought the cow. I'm in the process not of vaccinating everyone else in the herd.

    Two cows down

There's not much grass left in the pastures, but I've not seen an abundance of Johnson Grass.

    Two cows down

I have a small herd of registered Texas Longhorn Cattle. Went out two days ago and found one cow down, struggling to get up. She appeared slightly bloated. We attempted to get her up on her sternum but she died while we were working with her. She was a 7 year old bred cow. Came out this...

    Gun safe

Watch the measurements. Safes will not always fit in through the door jams, especially if you put it in a closet!

    Processing Steer

Started out as "yard art". He came with the starter herd I bought. With the drought, cost of feed etc. it's time for him to go.

    Anybody Near Dallas Texas?

There are two primary carriers in Dallas. AT&T, and Verizon. Then there are several smaller carriers, but they get their phone lines from one of the two of these mentioned. Good Hunting!

    Processing Steer

I have a healthy 5 year old Longhorn Steer that I want to have processed. Is this steer to old for anything but ground beef? This is our first steer of this age to process and want to get the best quality of meats we can. Thanks for any input.
