Thought I would update this, just put the cow/calf pairs back together when I went home for lunch, the formerly reluctant mom was doing a good job trying to keep her calf away from these "new" cattle at first. :lol: She sniffed the other one and then ignored it, exactly what I'd hoped for...

I'm pretty green, but judging by that calves hooves hes been up doing something because theres dried and caked mud on all of them. But I suppose that doesn't mean its traveled far. :mrgreen:
