Love my drag, fields never looked so good. The only negative thing I've have noticed is after I drag it needs to rain on it before the cows start eating the area.

Agree. The more hay I can bale at one location without having to move equipment, the more I'll pay. On free ground with no Fert. and just what grass grows I have 17.30 per 5x4 roll in the barn on an average cut. Most of my fields are 10 miles or less and I can haul 14 rolls per load. Down here...

Agree with TennesseeTuxedo I was told not to plant clover past the first of April or within 30 days of spraying but that's just my :2cents:. I planted 2 pounds of red and four pounds of white per acre. But do what works best for you in your area. :)

Thanks! We put a lot of work in them but it paid off. I saw other calves bring a whole lot less than ours, same potiential, just not the same quality.

Sold some 545 Avg# steers for 145.50 cwt. I was happy due to the lower prices here

I sold some steer calves on Saturday Avg. weight was 545# price was 1.45.50. Although prices are lower than the group I sold before, (last December) I was happy with outcome. :cboy:

I hope this already been asked. During winter feeding if I feed 1 ton of 16% hay free choice to calves will I get the same results as feeding 1 ton of 15% feed. Does this get into the TDN? Feed costs about 270 per ton I grow hay for about 114.40 per ton. :???: Thanks

Thanks for all the helpful information, symptoms indicate a stroke due to her inability to now control her legs. So I now have some decisions to make.

Drinking approx 13 gal H2O a day eating feed and hay like a champ. Chewing her cud. Cant say I notice her face being droopy.
