    I just held my hand up in the air and they were both tring to get to it to suck it and I snapped the picture. They are a jersey/holstein cross and they have a bit of an underbite. Dee, think Ill let them get made fun of, cant afford braces. hehe

    Cow has reddish mucousy discharge after giving birth.

    Scours- Runny poop, sometimes yellow, gray, brown and could have a really bad odor. Can be caused from bacteria and different diet. This is from personal experience. The best way to treat this is with Electrolytes which you can pick up at most farm supply store.[/b]

    Thanks! The coughing calf---she coughs just about all the time. She has her tounge stuck out half of the time. And her breathing is pretty fast. She seems to do better when we dr her with Tylan. We have had to tube her several times. And she will suck her bottle better when it is down low...

    I have this heifer calf about 3 weeks and she has been coughing alot, its like a dry cough. And her breath stinks badly. When she sucks her bottle, she has to stop to cough and also she has to stop to swollow. Any ideas? Also, have another heifer calf 3 weeks old with a big knot on her jaw...

    Well, I got my results back and I have Crypto. My sister-in-law came over and gave me an IV for fluids, she's a RN. I lost 10 lbs in 7 days...not to healthy. Anyway, Im feeling a little better now, guess im on my way to recovery. Thanks for all your concerns!

    Well, I went to the DR today and she took some blood and "other" samples to take to the lab. Said she will let me know as soon as the results came back. Until then, I'll just keep on keeping on.... Keep ya posted!

    Thanks everyone for your replies. Well this is day 5 and still not better, Im going to the DR in the morning at 9:00. Im getting a little bit weak now, my arms kinda feel like speghetti. But Ive been drinking plenty of fludis. Hope to get some sort of relief tomorow. Ill keep ya posted!
