Gasoline rag and cranking a diesal

Ive heard of that trick but it is too hit and miss for me. With a can of ether at least you are in control of the dose given.

Pin hole fuel tank leak repair

I had a hole in an International Combine Harvester some years ago and I used A blind end pot rivet with RTV on the shank making sure it pulled up square. I drilled out the hole a bit so that I could get the RTV in . It worked a treat until I sold the machine.

    Fencing for bulls

Probably shouldn't tell this story but here goes. In the early 1950s when electric fences were very primitive and before Gallaghers were getting going our neighbour was having trouble keeping his bull in the paddock with the battery powered unit of the time. He wired up the fence(Single Wire...

Aussies . . . Anyone heard of Supergene evaluation system

The photos of the SUPERGENE cattle I was sent tell a story but I am interested in the actual scoring system used that led to the producing of those rather poor types of animals. Has anybody got any details?

Aussies . . . Anyone heard of Supergene evaluation system

A question for RedPoll52 Excuse my ignorance but what are "tippy ears" and what have they got to do with cattle evaluations and breeding systems, or is it another joke from Tasmania

Aussies . . . Anyone heard of Supergene evaluation system

Supergene people who promote cattle such as those I have photos of would have to fit the description of being "Snake Oil Salesmen". Why would anyone say they are superior.

Aussies . . . Anyone heard of Supergene evaluation system

Are those cattle part of a Supergene herd. The cattle in the photos In my opinion they are a disgrace to cattle breeding. You can see one cow has lots to eat and the others are in yards of some kind. I wouldn't allow such animals to be seen by anybody let alone anyone with a camera.

Supergene photos-Thanks for those. I know what awful cattle can look like and I wouldn't like to see them on this forum if one likes Red Polls. One of those cows appears to be standing in a decent clover pasture yet she is thin. Perhaps they deserve another name Red Rubbish would be fitting.

Aussies . . . Anyone heard of Supergene evaluation system

If what Red Poll 52, Keren and the Malters say is half true then the world of Cattle Breeding needs to be warned about them. I know you dont want to denigrate the breed by posting photos but I would be keen to see them. Could you PM me and I could give you my direct Email so you could send them...

    Future Show Heifer

A fine looking pair but what do you mean by the phrase "a bit too fit" In our part of the world it would refer to a Rugby player.

I think they would mean the excellent looking one on your forum page titled what do you think of this Bull

What an interesting forum you've got going here Keren. I've always been interested in people like your Tasmanian and have my own thoughts about classsifying such people. Having never met him I'm asking those that have, which group of the following two would he would fit best. 1 The Brash...
