Wow! Seems early to be getting that hot. There’s power lines down all over the valley right now. Not sure when we’ll ever get our juice back on.

Woke up to 14 inches of nice wet snow and it hasn’t quit. Supposed to snow through Sunday. After weeks of nothing but wind we needed it! Good timing too, just finished spreading fertilizer yesterday.

I thought about using that until I counted up how many gates my valentine opens every morning, Decided to find another way of showing my affection. ;)

My wife has a good friend who’s a vegan. She said something that I don’t think people trying to make fake meat understand. Quite simply she said, I don’t want meat, why would I want something that tastes like meat? On the flip side of that I think people who want meat WANT MEAT.

Exactly Dun! When I think about "deleting" some of my biggest mistakes and regrets in building my herd the first thing that comes to mind is all I would have lost from learning from those mistakes. Although I can remember the stress some mistakes made in my life in the long run I feel I'm better...
